Dr. James Lewis is a licensed Physical Therapist with more than 25 years of clinical and teaching experience. He earned Board Certification by the American Physical Therapy Association as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and achieved recognition as a Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) with honors.
Throughout his career, Dr. Lewis has treated general orthopedic and complex sports conditions, specializing in the spine, shoulder girdle, and knee. He has worked with patients ranging from active community members to collegiate, professional, and Olympic-caliber athletes.
As a passionate educator, he has served on clinical faculty teaching manual therapy fundamentals and neuromuscular re-education to hundreds of physical therapists nationwide. Bluewater Education is his independent platform dedicated to practical, evidence-informed continuing education, digital clinical toolkits, and ongoing peer mentorship.
